  1. Washer smells and drains spit and gurgle with laundry loads the same rotten egg smell?

When I do laundry, when the washer drains my bathroom sink spits and bathtub drain gurgles and there is a horrible rotten egg smell. I cut back on laundry soap and fab softener and the stinch is still lingering. Have also tried the septic treatments and nothing has worked. Have tried to check the drain vents but doesn’t looked clogged. You can hear the gurgling outside also from the vents. What is going on with my draining system? HELP ME!...

try using Drain-O or just running super hot water and throwing a bunch of ice down there with the garbage disposal running. Or do you not have a garbage disposal?

Boil a pan or kettle of water, into the drain-pour a cup of table salt,a small box of arm hammer baking soda a cup of vinegar. You’ll need a wooden spoon to push the baking soda as near the drain as possible as will be in a pile.Have the boiling water ready pour a couple cups of water into the drain watch as it will bubble began to break down eat away at what is sitting in on sides of the drain. After a couple of minutes, pour the rest of water into the drain. You may need to repeat the process-but usually at a friends restaurant I only have to do this 2 times in a row to get it fresh clean.
My household rule is-always have boxes of arm hammer baking soda,a couple boxes of table salt a gallon of white vinegar in my pantry for nasty smelly drains as well as clogged drains.

try alot of dish soap , let sit 4 a few hours. is not , check your dishwasher because sometimes garbage disposals are connected and can stink real bad

There should be a trap or U-bend in the drain under your sink – they are supposed to hold a little water, to act as a seal and stop nasty niffs getting up the pipe from the drain. The same thing applies to a WC pan, on a larger scale.
Have a look under your sink, and if there isn’t either an obvious U bend or a plastic contraption fastened under the plughole with a pipe coming out of the side, you need to fit a trap of some sort.

If you have got a trap, maybe there’s some gunge in it which is going rotten. The plastic sort should have a domed cap on the bottom, which you can unscrew, and then clean out any offensive debris. Put a bucket underneath, to catch the water when you take the cap off, and be careful when you screw it back on – it’s easy to get the plastic threads crossed, and damage them.
